It's been driving me crazy: just which Feng is his Bao Jian "Feng"? Almost everywhere I see it, on official webpages and two of the series he's in, it's 锋 like I'd always thought it was, but in the beginning of another series, it's 峰! I didn't think a series would get one of their actors' names wrong...but it is 锋, not 峰, right?

By the way, I know Bao Jian Feng, Lu Yi and Ren Quan, but was curious if I'd ever seen the last Shanghai Shuai Ge. Does he happen to be in Qi Pao Tian Kong with Bao Jian Feng, or is he another guy?

I'd googled the name before but got a lot of results so I wasn't sure what he really looks like, so as I was watching I wondered if this was him.

If this is him, I gotta say Jeff beats him big time in the looks department Lu Yi and Ren Quan are nice too, but Bao Jian Feng definitely beats the other 3 guys.

Both feng are used. The current official name is definitely "锋". But older productions especially Taiwain productions used "峰" which I assumed was his original name.

Bao Bao definitely looks like someone into parties. He has a lot of good buddies in Beijing and sure has a lot to catch up. I remember a photo from Yang Men Fu Jiang where he took picture with the rest of brothers at a dinner table. Everyone held a beer glass/mug, only Bao Bao had a bottle

Yep, that's Chen Long. He looks pretty good in certain ancient get-ups. I liked his cool and mysterious front in the film Two Birds One Stone. Bao Bao beats all three down like nothing, though.

Jennie: I agree that Yan Kuan and Hu Ge are better looking than Chen Long in general.

Regarding Bao Bao's name, that's one of the first questions I had too when I saw 峰 used in the QWLSM credits, but then 锋 in most other places. Tigercool has some of his series under 保剑锋 and some under 保剑峰. I was told that 锋 is the official one and that's what Bao Bao uses to sign his name. Is 峰 really his original/given name? I think we'd have to ask his parents.

I like that group pic with Bao Bao's YMHJ bros. Bao Bao looks like he's filming a commercial. Yu Xiao Wei seems like he can hold a lot of alcohol. It looks like the lady is using Alec's head as a place to rest her glass.

Actually, LXR's charater and Bao Bao's are nemesis. She thinks he is the reason her father died, so she conspires to frame him and get him killed.

Yay! Bao Jian Feng in another series! And an ancient one at that. So far I've only watched him in modern ones. Saw a few glimpses of him in the first ep of Qin Wang Li Shi Min at a friend's house, though I didn't dig the moustache much.

I'm trying to get ahold of some of his other series where he's actually the main character rather than a side character but they don't seem to be available much online. Guess they're too old. Or too new. But I hope to watch him as the sex-crazed Emperor soon though. (Just realized how many series are about that time period...Qin Wang Li Shi Min and Sui Tang Ying Xiong Zhuan are all set in that era, aren't they?)

Is it true he's putting out an album?

XiaoYu, have you checked out Qing Tian Ya Men in which Bao Bao played Kang Xi. He was so handson, wise and charming in that serie. I assume you have since you share the same name "Xiao Yu".

I haven't yet, jennie. I looked for it online but couldn't find it. (Anyone know a site I can find it at?) My username actually doesn't have anything to do with him, but I certainly don't mind if it's connected to a character he plays.

I usually like my ancient guys with plenty of long hair...but Bao Jian Feng pulls off the Qing look surprisingly well. He's so cute under that Emperor's hat!

XiaoYu, if you don't like Bao Bao's mustache in QWLSM (although I personally did), you'll probably like his mustache in ZZHY even less. I thought they should have let Li Zhi be facial hair-free for more episodes than they did. Definitely watch QTYM. Bao Bao's the best young Kang Xi ever!

Don't know if they are ever involved and love turns into hatrad. Bao Bao supposely has a early wed lock from his hometown. Then a foreign princess of some sort during the war falls in love to him which he wouldn't reciprocate (loyal to his wife perhaps?). Kinda like Eric Sun's character in YMHJ except he never surrenders to her side. She is the lead actress Jin Qiao Qiao. I've never seen anything she played.
