    What's up with the pop-up ads on Spcnet? They are really annoying!

    There are no pop-up at SPCNET.

    Anyway, most internet toolbars nowadays block pop-ups.

    It's not pop up. It was just the advertisement on top that expanded and blocked part of the forum.

    I noticed the pop-ups last night as well. It was the cell phone ads on top that had pop-ups.
    Due to several complaints, I will stop using the terms "Babe" and "Baby" in reference to our female counterpart. They will now be replaced with "B*tch."

    Do you mean the ad expanded when your mouse hovered over it? Do you remember which ad specifically it was? T-mobile? I don't like those type of ads either.

    We never do pop-up ads on this site.

    No, I didn't move my mouse over the ad. It was the one with beyonce in it. And there was a christmas tree. I think it was the cellphone one.

    strange, why dont i get these too? my page has absolutely no ads, just a big spcnet.tv on top. well, not that i want to have those, just curious.....

    No. It just pop-upped on its own. I guess expanded from the original format at top. Then you would have to navigate to a new page(refresh) or it had a "X" to close it. I don't remember what exact ad it was but it was a cell phone. I don't notice it today.

    I’m glad I wasn't the only that notices the pop-up ads. It doesn't occur consistently all the time, just every now and then.

    okay, the pop-up cellphone ad from Sprint has just randomly appeared again. My mouse was no where near the ad when it appears. You have to click on the "X box to close it.

    Yeah, I see it too. And no, you don't have to click on the 'x' to close it. Just click anywhere on the forum and it'll disappear.

    Just have to add that my memory is brilliant. ^_^ I got the christmas tree, beyonce, and cellphone! YIPPEE! ^_^

    Mine doesn't have Beyonce, just snow and Christmas trees, and a phrase "Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle All the Way" going across the page.

    Maybe your Browser got hijacked.

    Try doing a spyware/trojans scan on your computer.
