There are mentioning of a Mainland China production of Lu Xiao Feng in the actor fourm. I know that Yan Kuan is Ye Gu Cheng and Peter Ho is Xi Men Chui Xue. Who is playing Lu Xiao Feng? Any more picture of the rest of the cast?

Thank goodness the costumes and hairstlyes aren't bad like the ones in Jimmy Lin's version. Any idea when it's coming out? I think Julian will do well in the role. The only person I'm doubting about his acting skills is Peter Ho. I'm not sure if he could act as Sai Mun Chui Suet.

No idea when it's coming out . They just started filming it in the middle of July .

Where are the girls? And who is playing Far Moon Lau, what is his name? Can't they change the actor for XMCS? Don't like Peter. He always looks as if he just had botox injections - no expressions or too much where his face cramps up. There is more to being XMCS than having wind blown in your face.

ermm although i don't like the Jimmy Lin's version, but i seriously think Jimmy version has much nicer hairstyles OMG!!! PETER?! ahhhhhhh he's going to spoil the show. hope this show is faithful to the original novel

Since he's got no moustache and there's a Ye Gucheng, I assume it's going to start from the beginning with the Golden Roc story up to at least the end of the Duel? Hope they flesh out the Embroidery Bandit arc in the middle unlike the TVB 70s series. Should have lots of pretty girls...

It's hard to tell. I thought Lau Wing would be horrible when I saw him on the front cover of the Shaw Brothers version, but after watching it I found him quite good. Hopefully Julian does it well. You need somebody with good acting skills to pull LXF off, otherwise you end up looking lecherous.

I hope Julian doesn't have to sport a mustache for the majority of the series. Either way though, I know he's going to do great in the main role of Lu Xiao Feng.

I actually think the hairstyles and images are better in the Eric Suen version than the Jimmy Lin one, even though the script itself left much to be desired. Check out the images of LXF anyway:

Yeah...I also think Julian Cheung is a huge miscast for Lu Xiao Feng! I've been reading Moinllieon's translation of Lu Xiao Feng and some how I just can't picture Julian as Lu Xiao Feng.
